Product Description

        Working principle: The working principle of the stainless steel external thread reducing union is to achieve sealing by the friction force generated from the rotation of the threaded connection, with the conical surface of the ferrule tightly contacting the outer wall of the steel pipe and being locked by the ferrule nut. The specific process is as follows: 
1.Connection Principle 
         Insert the steel pipe into the ferrule of the reducing coupling. By rotating the ferrule nut, the conical surface of the ferrule and the outer wall of the steel pipe generate sufficient friction force to form a seal. This connection method does not require welding, is easy to operate and provides reliable sealing. 
2. Sealing Characteristics 
         During the locking process, the ferrule will cut into the outer wall of the steel pipe, causing local plastic deformation. Combined with the sealing ring, it further enhances the sealing effect. This method is suitable for the transportation pipelines of oil, gas, water and other media, with a pressure resistance of up to 45 MPa and a working temperature range of -70ºC to 400ºC. 
3. Reusability Feature 
        The ferrules that have undergone special treatments (such as hardening) can be reused, and when disassembled, there is no need to damage the pipe fittings or thread structure, making maintenance convenient.
